Valerio Orlandini, born in Florence, Italy in 1986, dives into the world of electroacoustic composition and sound design. His musical journey has meandered through diverse soundscapes, transitioning from ambient/industrial tones to a fusion of electroacoustic and concrete music. This evolution embraces field recordings and electronic sound design, influenced by his interest in biology and informatics.

Prior to pursuing his Masters of Arts in Music and New Technologies from the Conservatory of Florence, Valerio delved into bioinformatics research. This experience, stemming from his previous studies in Biology, significantly informs his approach to understanding sound and its creative potential.
Valerio's artistic pursuits began in 2005 with the ethereal ambient project Symbiosis, but his quest for boundless creativity led him to embrace his own name, allowing for a wider range of sonic and visual exploration.
Throughout his career, Valerio has graced live events, shared music globally, and collaborated with artists within the underground art scene, weaving dark soundscapes with cinematic undertones.
Beyond his musical endeavors, Valerio's creative interests extend to poetry, photography, and video art, often intersecting with his musical expressions. He's affiliated with Collective NimĂȘl and was previously part of the Arctic duo NORV, establishing connections within avant-garde artistic circles.

In addition to his artistic ventures, Valerio is a software developer focusing on innovative music software, merging technology with art to shape his creative output.
Currently, Valerio's interests span the study of soundscapes and their interaction with various creative forms, exploring the integration of autonomous systems and artificial intelligence in electroacoustic composition. His experiences in bioinformatics research lend depth to his multidisciplinary background, enriching his curiosity-driven approach to artistic exploration.
